Skanska has launched its new offer – Homes by Skanska – officially marking the company’s entrance into the UK housebuilding arena.
Homes by Skanska was presented at London’s Design Museum yesterday evening (November 22), showcasing the Scandinavian builder’s take on sustainability and its ethos of space and strong community building. 
“We are very excited to be celebrating our launch, which brings some Scandinavian thinking to homebuilding here in the UK,” said Magnus Andersson, president of Skanska Residential. “Like all good businesses we have developed a brand strategy for Homes by Skanska. Our Scandinavian heritage is at the heart if everything we do and has informed the four values that drive our business: functional design, communities, sustainability and a strong focus on the consumer.”
Skanska’s first homes in Cambridge will be available for sale in early summer 2012. Skanska said that it also planned to build in London and Bristol.
