Job description:

Our client a largely successful and extremely busy Social Housing Contractor who also develop in their own right is now seeking a Technical Manager to strengthen the existing Technical Team working on new build Social Housing Projects, Private Residential, Student Accommodation and Commercial.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some exciting projects up to 100 million pound in value.

Duties include:

n Pre-construction design and technical reviews

n Assisting bid processes and competitive tendering on new potential projects

n Prepare and maintain Risk register, prepare design reports and monthly management reports

n Review and chair meetings with surveying, buying, construction and building services departments.

n Appoint all necessary consultants

n contract review meetings

n Manage clearance of planning and building control conditions

n Producing internal finishes schedule

n Deal with any part wall matters and any site queries when materialise

Qualifications required:

A number of years experience working within Technical management or design co-ordination on large residential projects.
